1.) In the begining Ponyboy steps out of the movie house (movie theater), he had just watched a movie. Different things run through his mind. One thing is , he wants a ride home.
ReplyDelete2.) Ponyboy gets jumped from some Socs. They threaten him and they ask him if he wants a hair cut. Meaning they were going to cut him.
3.) Ponyboy comes home late because he fell asleep in the parking lot. Darry is mad at him for being late so he slaps Ponyboy. Then Ponyboy runs away with Johnny because of that.
4.) Ponyboy and Johnny left a cigarette in the church so it caught on fire. Ponyboy and Johnny try to save some kids from the church. Both Ponyboy and Johnny get injured. Johnny's injuries are worse though.
5.) Ponyboy and Two-bit go to the hospital. Then Johnny dies in the hospital because of his bad injury.
6.) After Dallas and Ponyboy are in the parking lot. Dallas gets shot by the police and he dies because of it.
7.) In the end Ponyboy is home and he starts his report for school. The report is on all that has happened to him (in the story). It starts with, " When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house...".

ReplyDelete2) Ponyboy met Cherry at the drive in movie theater.then some of the greasers walked cherry & her friend how but there boyfriends saw then & the girls went with them
3) Ponyboy & Johnny fell asleep in the lot then Ponyboy woke-up & went home. Then him & his brothers got into a fight & Darry hit Ponyboy & he left the house.
4) Ponyboy & Johnny were in a park when they got jumped by drunk socs & ponyboy was almost drowned to death but Johnny killed Bob, Cherry's boyfriend in self defense.
5) Ponyboy & Johnny got a gun & some money from there friend Dallas then ran-away to a church to hide-out.
6) They left the church one day then when they came back the church has on fire & they saved many kids but Pony got knocked out & Johnny was badly burned. Johnny was in the hospital in bad condition & he has to miss the rumble.

1. After watching a movie at the theater Ponyboy walks home. While walking home a gang called the Socs jump Ponyboy and beat him up and threaten to cut his hair.
ReplyDelete2. When Darry slaps Ponyboy across the face Ponyboy runs away with Johny to the park. Cherry's boyfriend Bob and other Socs arrive at the park and start drowning Ponyboy in the fountain. Ponyboy awakens to discover Johnny has stabbed and killed Bob in order to protect Ponyboy.
3. Johnny and Ponyboy change their identities and run off and hide up in the mountains in an abandon church. Johnny and Ponyboy are afraid that the police will not believe they killed Bob in self defense and the police will arrest them and they will go to jail for a long time.
4. A cigarette is left on the church floor and a fire breaks out. Ponyboy escapes the burning building but Johny goes back to help some small children who were playing in the church. A beam falls on Johnny while saving the last child and knocks him unconscious. Ponyboy goes back into the church and saves Johny and the small child.
5. With serious injuries Johny dies in the hospital. Dally is devastated and simply gives up on life. After robbing the grocery store the police attempt to arrest Dally. In the attempt Dally reaches for his pocket like he has a gun. The police open fire and kill him. Ponyboy goes to court and all charges have been dropped against him. Ponyboy remains living with his brothers.

ReplyDelete1.) The story starts off with Ponyboy walking out of a movie theater. The light blinds him as he walks out; he starts to think about getting a ride home instead of walking. He decides to just walk anyways, but while walking home thinking about life and such he gets jumped by a bunch of socs (SOCIALS). He beaten brutally before his greaser buddies were able to chase the socs off.

The story's rising action starts when Johnny (The quiet greaser who lives in a home with many issues) stabs a soc named Bob in order to scare the other socs away and save Ponyboy from being drowned. Ponyboy and Johnny know that murder is a serious thing, so they go get a few things from there fellow greaser buddy, Dally and go hide in a church somewhere in the country. They spend 5 days there before Dally comes to get them, allot happened to Ponyboy and Johnny in five days, they lost allot of weight and something changed in there head. They went to go get food with Dally since all they were eating over the days was baloney. After they ate they went back to the church to get all there things, but when they got there the church was on fire and a bunch of children were still stuck in it. Ponyboy and Johnny ran in and saved the children, but in their attempt to get out Johnny’s back was broken by a beam that fell from the roof. Ponyboy, Dally, and Johnny were taken to the hospital.
3.) The climax of the story is the big rumble between the socs and the greasers. It was a clean fight, fists only, and no weapons at all. The battle started off raging, everywhere you looked there was a soc hitting a greaser or a greaser hitting a soc. Ponyboy was kicked in the head, which gave him a concussion (which he did not know until later on). After a long battle the socs retreated to there cars, during the commotion of greasers yelling and screaming about how they beat the socs, Dally picked Ponyboy up and ran to the hospital to see Johnny. When they got there Johnny was dying... He told Ponyboy to stay golden, which Ponyboy didn’t understand until later on. When Johnny died Dally was so upset he ran out of the hospital and took the car somewhere else. Ponyboy went home to see his greaser pals. When he got there he described everything but while he was talking Darry got a phone call, it was Dally and he was in trouble, he robbed a store and the police were after him. He told them to meet him at the lot, so off Ponyboy, and his pals went! When they got to the lot they saw something that nobody should ever have to see... Dally pulled a gun out at the police (Dally said the day before to Johnny and Pony that it was just for show, it wasn't loaded) and then Ponyboy realized what he wanted. He wanted the police to shoot him; he couldn't handle Johnny being dead. When Dally fell to the ground filled with hot lead, Ponyboy passed out from his concussion!
4.) The action in the story started to drop when Ponyboy woke up from his concussion. He continued his normal life, but something was wrong this time. Ponyboy was obviously effected in a big way from Johnny, and Dallys deaths, And most likely also his concussion.

5. The church starts to burn from a lighted cigarette and Johnny and Ponyboy save kids that are trapped in there. After a few days Johnny dies from a back injury and Dally dies from the big Greaser vs. Soc rumble

3. Ponyboy and his brothers meet up with the rest of their gang and you learn about all the members of the gang in ponyboys point of view.

5. Ponyboy wakes up and walks home. When he gets home his brother is not happy with him.
